Probably all the jail time he'll see. The headline is a bit misleading "Arrested for Leaving Seat" when the article states he was slow returning to his seat.
And they was mean and nasty and ugly and horrible crime-type guys sitting on the bench next to me. And the meanest, ugliest, nastiest one, the meanest father raper of them all, was coming over to me and he was mean 'n' ugly 'n' nasty 'n' horrible and all kind of things and he sat down next to me and said, "Kid, whad'ya get?" Had he returned to his seat after going to the restroom, this wouldn't be a story.
I can see detaining the man or maybe even slapping him with a fine but not 20 years.
I doubt he'll get 20 years.
Our world is out of frigging control......currently considering cocooning versus traveling as they have given every beancounter in the nation the authority to screw you over based on perception versus a physical act.
I'd suspect this story is lacking if the Air Marshal's had to jack up the entire passenger cabin . You know darn well that F-16's from hill were escorting the plane as it approached, and a battalion of FLEAS an LEOS/DOD rentals etc etc surrounded the AC as it landed in SLC and made a dance of death boarding with weapons drawn to remove said "suspect passengers (all of em).
This stuff is just getting too unsafe to potentially expose ones family too........
