The Iranian government is our enemy - pure and simple. Therefore it is at least "UNDERSTANDABLE" why people wouldn't necessarily be unhappy about this.
However - it is not an excuse to wish evil on these people - unless of course this was a military transport - in which case 'thin the heard' is appropriate.
one might also argue that MOST Iranians are our enemy...
My Point? - there are many different ways to view this and the 'glee' demonstrated by some is, at least, understandable - even if it isn't acceptable to all.
