I agree, the trail is growing colder by the day. Prayers that a miracle can happen. If like the parents believe, that the child is being held hostage, maybe the kidnapper will make ransom demands. In the live interview, there is an inference by Brenda VD to just such a possibility.

More bad news: I talked to someone who volunteered for the search and rescue operation out at Glammis. Basically, there was no one in charge. My contact had a full setup with GPS, topos on his laptop computer, and a fully serviced Jeep--just needed to be told which grid to search. There wasn't any effort to coordinate a search plan by the people putting on the "search effort," and a lot of the "searchers" were rolling around on the dunes, drinking beer and acting like this was some sort of frat party.
