What kind of people would carry a dead body around with them then later decide to cut the dead body's throat for impact. Any suggestions?

Exactly what I've been thinking. It doesn't make sense. For some reason the media, maybe at the urging of the gov't or even thru Pakistani disinformation, want to minimize the gruesome nature of Danny Pearl's death.

Apparently Pearl was dead before they killed him. We can all go quietly home now, knowing that he didn't suffer.

If they wanted to minimize the gruesomeness of Pearl's death, this thread wouln't exist. The gruesome nature of his death has been described in great detail.
