Why Does Hollywood Celebrate Single Moms, because they enjoy getting them pregnant with out having to support them.

Have they not seen "Mommy Dearest"? I saw it 20 years ago, and I *still* have a grudge against wire hangers!

To make themselves feel better. The fact is that they cannot maintain a relationship. They are shallow, superficial and very selfish women.
What man would want that?

I don't think you can compare a normal single mom trying to raise her kids to a Hollyweird single mom. They have the money to BUY a child & then they flaunt it, like some badge of honor, or they have a child without marriage & flaunt it. No one ever said hollywood is or should be a role model for anyone!

I don't know that they neccessarily hate men or that Hollywood celebrates them in the sense that one might think.
Rather, I think in part that it has more to do with 'art' imitating life.
As much as I hate the way Hollywood portrays much of what we see in society as being wrong, as though it were something to celebrate. I try to think of 'Hollywood' in terms of smart business. They give 'us' what we want.
Unfortunately, many of the things we want have to be boiled down to a common demoninator and we know that is never pretty.

"Sometimes there can be two really crappy parents and sometimes one great heroic one. Very true. Thank you for saying it.
