I think that the Muslim view of Bin Laden is both nuanced and divided.
Bin Laden is virtually a saint ot Wahabbis. He is favored by most Arabs (Arabian Arabs, not Arabs speakers).

He is far less favored by groups with more tolerent traditions like those in the Maghreb, Turks in Turkey and in the Trans-Eurasian Steppe.
