CNN MEMO WARNS STAFF ON REPORTING JESSE JACKSON SCANDAL BOOK
**Exclusive**
A CNN internal memo warns staffers to hold off reporting on a new book which presents a damning portrait of former CNN host and civil rights activist Rev. Jesse Jackson.
The CNN memo obtained by the DRUDGE REPORT, penned from the network's Chicago bureau, points out how the author of SHAKEDOWN: THE LIFE OF THE REVEREND JESSE JACKSON -- may not be trustworthy!
"Kenneth Timmerman is a long time writer and investigator touting conservative causes," the CNN memo notes.
"He is recently a failed political candidate [ran for US Senate in Maryland] whose own bio points out he studied creative writing at Brown."
SHAKEDOWN hits stores this week; it quickly raced to the top of the AMAZON hit sales parade.
REGNERY PUBLISHING set a first run of 150,000 copies, a record for the house.
If these are the types of things circling around CNN news desks, we don't have to wonder why CNN cannot be trustworthy or fair about reporting anything. Period!

CNN is a shakedown

If Jesse was in the mob, he'd be facing RICO charges..

Whatever happened to the 1st Amendment cry? CNN is stifling information and thereby abusing their employees first amendment rights.

"Kenneth Timmerman is a long time writer and investigator touting conservative causes," the CNN memo notes. I believe I understand now...only writers and investigators touting LIBERAL or SOCIALIST causes have any credibility with CNN. They wonder why their ratings are in a free-fall..? ROTF!

"Kenneth Timmerman is a long time writer and investigator touting conservative causes," the CNN memo notes. There's no problem with this. I'm sure they sent out the same memo with respect to Michael Moore's new book stating that he wasn't trustworthy and noting his long history of touting liberal causes. < /sarcasm>

Actually, it is not outside the realm of possibility that he could be prosecuted under RICO, given the breadth and depth of his affiliations and activities....

In related news, CNN has decided to eliminate Al Gore's Earth in the Balance entirely from its coverage. Mr. Gore is a failed politician (he lost a presidential bid in 2000), known to support liberal causes, and studied Theology before flunking out of college.

This is a page right out of the Clinton playbook. When caught, trash the messenger. Already the spin will be, Timmerman is just another conservative who is out to bash poor Rev. Jessie. Jessie and his allies like CNN will attempt to make Jackson the victim of this right wing smear campaign. I guess the only proper response is to make it a best seller. I know I have my copy!

whose own bio points out he studied creative writing at Brown." What the heck does this mean? Is studying Creative Writing a crime? Or is it the fact that he studied at Brown that casts doubt upon his veracity? These people are sick!
