Special Dispatch No. 354:
Saudi Government Daily: Jews Use Teenagers' Blood for 'Purim' Pastries

In an article published by the Saudi government daily Al-Riyadh, columnist Dr. Umayma Ahmad Al-Jalahma of King Faysal University in Al-Dammam, wrote on "The Jewish Holiday of Purim." Following are excerpts of the article:

Special Ingredient For Jewish Holidays is Human Blood From Non-Jewish Youth

"I chose to [speak] about the Jewish holiday of Purim, because it is connected to the month of March. This holiday has some dangerous customs that will, no doubt, horrify you, and I apologize if any reader is harmed because of this."

"During this holiday, the Jew must prepare very special pastries, the filling of which is not only costly and rare – it cannot be found at all on the local and international markets."

"Unfortunately, this filling cannot be left out, or substituted with any alternative serving the same purpose. For this holiday, the Jewish people must obtain human blood so that their clerics can prepare the holiday pastries. In other words, the practice cannot be carried out as required if human blood is not spilled!!"

"Before I go into the details, I would like to clarify that the Jews' spilling human blood to prepare pastry for their holidays is a well-established fact, historically and legally, all throughout history. This was one of the main reasons for the persecution and exile that were their lot in Europe and Asia at various times."

"This holiday [Purim] begins with a fast, on March 13, like the Jewess Esther who vowed to fast. The holiday continues on March 14; during the holiday, the Jews wear carnival-style masks and costumes and overindulge in drinking alcohol, prostitution, and adultery. This holiday has become known among Muslim historians as the "Holiday of Masks."

How the Jews Drain the Blood From Their Young Victims

"Who was Esther, and why the Jews sanctify her and act as she did, I will clarify in my article next Tuesday,(1) Allah willing. Today, I would like to tell you how human blood is spilled so it can be used for their holiday pastries. The blood is spilled in a special way. How is it done?"

"For this holiday, the victim must be a mature adolescent who is, of course, a non-Jew – that is, a Christian or a Muslim. His blood is taken and dried into granules. The cleric blends these granules into the pastry dough; they can also be saved for the next holiday. In contrast, for the Passover slaughtering, about which I intend to write one of these days, the blood of Christian and Muslim children under the age of 10 must be used, and the cleric can mix the blood [into the dough] before or after dehydration."

The Actions of the Jewish Vampires Cause Them Pleasure

"Let us now examine how the victims' blood is spilled. For this, a needle-studded barrel is used; this is a kind of barrel, about the size of the human body, with extremely sharp needles set in it on all sides. [These needles] pierce the victim's body, from the moment he is placed in the barrel."

"These needles do the job, and the victim's blood drips from him very slowly. Thus, the victim suffers dreadful torment – torment that affords the Jewish vampires great delight as they carefully monitor every detail of the blood-shedding with pleasure and love that are difficult to comprehend."

"After this barbaric display, the Jews take the spilled blood, in the bottle set in the bottom [of the needle-studded barrel], and the Jewish cleric makes his coreligionists completely happy on their holiday when he serves them the pastries in which human blood is mixed."

"There is another way to spill the blood: The victim can be slaughtered as a sheep is slaughtered, and his blood collected in a container. Or, the victim's veins can be slit in several places, letting his blood drain from his body."

"This blood is very carefully collected – as I have already noted – by the 'rabbi,' the Jewish cleric, the chef who specializes in preparing these kinds of pastries."

"The human race refuses even to look at the Jewish pastries, let alone prepare them or consume them!"(2)

I can remember my old Jewish grandmother complaining: "Oy! Finding goyischer blood for the Purim Hamentashen is such tsouris!"

This is a rather belated reply to the article you posted, about the "blood libel" against the Jews from the Saudi cleric. It is very extremist stuff. No doubt one should keep an eye on hate speech, but I think it needs to be said that this guy is obviously a fringe thinker. Such views are marginal in the Middle East. He is sort of what "Christian Identity" is to real churches. A more influential view of Muslim thinking on Jewish food laws can be found on this site. (Link posted below). I offer this site because these are hard-line, quite fundamentalist Islamic clerics (not liberals) who apply the food rules very legalistically. However they also make refence to Jewish rules, and respect Kosher certification. In some of the halal questions, they cite Rabbis opinions and respectfully defer to them. http://www.albalagh.net/halal/col4.shtml

Such views are marginal in the Middle East.

This is not at all clear to a thinking reader. The Middle Eastern / Arab press is all controlled by their governments to some degree. There is not a 1st Amendment, nor a rough-and-tumble free exchange of ideas in a land where saying the wrong thing can get a fatwah pronounced against you. Anything that is said, the government can be said to at least tacitly approve. Finally, we see results of the recent survey showing large numbers of Islamics don't believe that Arabs committed the atrocities of 9/11.

So, I do not take statements like, "Such views are marginal in the Middle East", at face value. It seems all too likely that they might be believed by a significant percentage of the population.

Well, that's because Italian pastries are better, frankly, although I did once find one of Joey "Twopockets" Provenzano's thumbs in one of my panettone.

This muslim propoganda ranks right up there with Protestant claims that Catholics sacrifice babies on the alter and use the nuns for prostitutes.

Um, let's see... I'll take 6 AB neg, 6 O pos,
and 12 O neg...
Goes to prove the sheer insanity displayed by people in that region.
Time for a thermo-nuclear cleansing.

Ping! Fox News Channel just ran a short news segment based around this story, complete with:

o A synopsis of the "blood for Purim" story, with a statement from MEMRI's director

o An Arab-produced video clip "showing" Sharon ordering the assault-rifle execution of half-a-dozen-or-so bound and kneeling Pali prisoners, each with their own executioner

o The standard rebuttal by a U.S.-based Muslim spokescreature (CAIR? them, or a similar group), saying "no one in the Middle East pays attention to this stuff" (Then why does it seem so common, in a part of the world where the government controls the press, and the people largely hate us? Perhaps because of government-approved propaganda like this.).

You're very right about that. The kosher laws PROHIBIT the consumption of blood. That's one of the big rules of kosher slaughtering of animals. (For you meat eaters out there, that's why kosher meat is probably so blaaaaah.) The scary thing about this ignorant propaganda is that so many people in the world believe it.

How rediculous but the think is, those Arabs will believe it.

Of course they believe it. They are kept ignorant by their religious cult leaders, and that is their only source of information. Christians used to say and believe the same thing. Crap like this is why it is so important to make sure we never have a theocracy.

Nothing to do with this thread, but your screen name reminded me of a thought I had the other day as I drove across the "Woodrow Wilson Memorial Bridge" in DC. That thought was "Why isn't there a Jackie Wilson bridge?"

BTW,your "Kosher" comment was udderly tastless, and I am jealous. I think at times like this it is proper to ask oneself the important question another FR poster asked,"WWJDD?" Which means,"What would Jeffrey Dahmer Do?"

I have been following the blood libel threads for the last couple of days. Besides what newbie blackveil (2/2/02) has to say I found this crap to be standard fair along with the PEZ BS. I about lost it when they mentioned this took place in Dammam and not Riyadh. I did some lectures on materials and corrosion there. This was the Eastern Province of all places in a supposedly repectable university. I am afraid things are much worse in Kingdom then even I could have imagined. Maybe a policy of Exxonorabia in Eastern Saudi would be in the worlds best interests with the rest of Saudi going back to the possession of Jordan where it rightfully belongs.
