I know it would never happen, but my fantasy would have these three industries simply stop selling their products in California altogether (or at least threaten to do so) in retaliation. No law against it and it would effectively undermine these stupid laws. A good way of telling the socialists out there to go get stuffed.

Gates kind of threatened this not too long ago. Basically, states that didn't accept the Atny Gen'l's settlement and demanded a "non-bundling" of software with the operating system would not have the operating system sold in their states.
It's about time some industries did the shrug of Atlas.

I said this about the tobacco co's. They should move off shore and refuse to sell their products in the US. Tobacco products will still get into the states but the government wouldn't get all that tax just for the asking. They would have to stop the smuggling first. Which our mighty government is unable, and incapable of doing.
