I tend to distrust/disbelieve polls, especially this far from the election. Go Simon!! All California Freepers need to go all out to get Simon elected. We can't get lazy just because some poll says he's ahead.

Today's USSC ruling on virtual kiddie porn provides an opportunity for the GOP to mute the Democrat abortion card.

Bottom line, which do soccer moms value more: defending access to abortion(which they might need only a few times in their lives) from a perceived threat, or protecting their children from a threat potentially encountered on a daily basis?

It's possible, but it's also possible that they might not have to will to actually vote for Davis--they may just say,"The hell with it--if Simon actually does try to do something anti-abortion, he'll have to face very stiff opposition and they might not let him get away with it...so why go through all the hassle..."
