And when did "federal legislation" ever stop the dirty men in black robes from doing whatever they wanted? A lot can be changed when jurors are TOLD how they will address a case, or no jurors are involved, at all. We're getting a bit of topic at this point, but I don't believe many of the laws protect us when you have a tyrannical system slowly emerging. They've already changed enough of the laws that they can choose to ignore some that don't suit their needs. Or, at least they can "bypass" them.

Just give it up. I'm not going to get into this with you. The fact remains that the story of the preacher getting arrested by "federal agents" is just that...a story.
