I respectfully disagree. We don't have heterosexual pride parades but the gays have gay pride parades. It's my business when they behave outrageously in public. They flaunt their sexual choices in order to force their views on dissenting adults. They have an agenda and I disagree with flaunting ANY sexual choices in public. Their flagrant sexual displays in public are meant for shock value. Btw, I have a brother who is gay. I love him dearly. And he has personal dignity. He and his friends have never "displayed" themselves in public.
Paraphilia is a disorder, but then again if you’re OK with incest, bestiality and pedophilia go for it! The rest of us think those sexual attractions as equally base.
What about women past menopause? People who are sterile? Is it immoral for them to have sex?

That’s not what the APA thinks, paraphilias are an “orientation” unless you don’t have positive psychosocial functioning. Funny how some are OK and some are not. Go Figure?

There is a therapy used in treating OCD called "cognitive therapy" which involves the sufferer actively confronting and resisting his obsessions and compulsions through choice and force of effort. It is one of the most effective therapies and it has the effect of altering the wave function and even the physiology of the brain over time.
It is more likely that as a person chooses to act "gay" and continues in that choice, his brain wave patterns and even physiology are changed.
I've also noticed that the most vigorous defenders of homosexuality tend to be young and wet behind the ears. They haven't lived long enough to acquire a full account of human behavior and are still parroting what their liberal Rasputins told them about homosexuality iin college.
