Where the hell are ANY of the SIMON ads? Repeating the previous post with more emphasis:
...keep in mind NO ONE IS WATCHING. There is a reason the networks play reruns this time of year. People are on vacation, they are mowing their lawns in the evenings and they are not focused on the election.
Simon's ads will begin AFTER labor day when the campaign starts. It has always been that way. Davis is blowing all his money on these low-ratings buys because he has so much to burn and his negative ratings are so high. If Bill Simon spends his bucks now he won't have the money he needs closer to the election when everyone is paying attention.

On Sept 3 it had better be "All Simon, All the Time" on CA TV channels.
Holding my breath...starting....NOW!!.

I'M GLAD NO ONE IS SEEING THE ADS, BECAUSE THEY ARE "ALL OVER AT LEAST 30 LOCAL CABLE CHANNELS BY ME"!
Being on such a regular repetitive basis everywhere, I feel good nobody had access like me to them. LOL
I'm sure going unanswered for two months will serve the Simon camp very well.

Elk, I used to be in the ad business and I know you're right -- to a point. What's worrisome here is that G.D. has picked up on Klintoon's assault tactic of the never-ending smear campaign. That's why he's been spending far more time raising campaign cash than governing the state: he knows the tactic worked for Clinton and it has a good chance of working for him.
I have only one question to those who are compaining about Simons' failure to retaliate: Have you made a generous contribution to his campaign? I have. It takes gobs of money to even begin to counter a campaign like Davis's.

Dan, I applaud the work you're doing. But you're wasting your breath on a lot of these folks. If they've been told once they've been told 500 times why the campaign is not yet advertising. That does not even slow them down in their armchair quarterbacking/criticism.
I personally think a small momentum shift is all Simon needs right now. The Presidential visits next week will be good shots in the arm, showing donors and volunteers the President is still on board, and they'll be good for a couple of points in the polls. Plus the money they'll raise can be used after Labor Day for ads, further raising Simon's numbers and hopefully lowering Davis' anemic numbers even more.
Some of the folks around here just crack me up. When Simon was leading in 9 of 11 polls, they completely ignored the polls and just complained that Simon can't win. Now that ONE DEMOCRAT poll shows Davis up by 17 points, they embrace this poll and complain Simon can't win.
Keep the faith, friend!
