SACRAMENTO -- Over the objections of critics who called it an invitation to voter fraud, the California Assembly passed legislation Friday that would allow new citizens to register to vote on election day.

The Assembly also approved a measure that would allow authorities to send foreign prisoners convicted in California back to their home countries. Those votes and others came as the state lawmakers continued to debate dozens of bills before the end of the legislative session next week.

The voting bill, AB 51 by Democrat Jenny Oropeza of Long Beach, would allow immigrants who are sworn in as American citizens seven days before an election to register to vote on election day.

Cali democrats are institutionalizing voter fraud. Cali is doomed, sorry. This will allow illegals to vote at will. The Cali drivers license for illegals means they will have all the identification they need to get their ballot.

The census already rewards california with 5 or more U.S. Representatives (as persons, not citizens are counted in the census). Now these illegals will be voting.

The time when socialism can be reversed and the Constitution preserved in the USA using the electoral process draws to a close.

Waaaaait a minute! Correct me if I'm wrong, but foreigners commit a crime and then get a free flight home--no strings attached? Gee, you might as well throw in a couple of beers and a three-week vacation to Hawaii while you're at it!...I think I'm the only one bothered by this? (of course I'd rather have them out of our country anyway)

This is the result of 100% Dem Legislature and Governorship.

Wait until you see the upcoming stuff they have in store.

All this is just solidifying their position so that CA will be a one-party state 'forever'.

This is one reason I've begun sending some of my guns to undisclosed locations out-of-state.

They cannot wait to outlaw them all.

Precisley, and sadly. Perhaps it's time to do the opposite of "annex" and "surrender" kalifornia to the Mexicans. Let them have it, and then ignore it.

Once the good guys get out, I vote that we set explosives at the borders and then let it fall into the ocean.......
