In case you MISSED this from the media coverage of last night's lovefest in Hollywood, there were a handful of crazy REPUBLICAN protesters on the sidewalk in front of the Kodak Theatre, including a big guy dressed up as a male prostitute who calls himself the "eGray Hooker" - wearing fishnets and garters stuffed with cash, with a giant sign that said, "Will work for... BRIBES."
(If they were from PETA, or GreenPeace, of the anti-WTO mob - you WOULD have already heard about it.)

In the past, "FReepers," as members of the conservative news forum like to call themselves, were previously roused to such levels of "street theater" during the fiasco with Al Gore in Florida, where they popularized the "Sore/Loserman" parody.
Now, they are promoting an eBay parody website put up by the Bill Simon campaign, called www.eGray.org (The "hooker" aspect of this protest comes from a Mike Ramirez cartoon published (8/20/02) in the Los Angeles Times. http://www.latimes.com/includes/ramirez/ramirez_20020820.gif )
We believe that there is considerable PASSION for Bill Simon out there, "under the radar" of the mainstream media, despite their continued stories about his "troubled," "faltering," "lackluster" campaign.
Talk radio and Internet revolutionaries will effect THIS election like no other in history. When political science textbooks are written in the future, they will talk about THIS "guerilla politics" for years to come.
