I'm equally if not more concerned with the bond issues that are on the ballot.

If there is a decent voter turnout they will probably all be passed by those that don't have to pay for them.

Yeah, it's like mailing platinum credit cards to everyone on food stamps.

What CA needs is a referendum requiring all social spending to be placed on the ballots. Most voters don't understand financial fungibility, so they don't know that when they pass a school, parks, police, or firemen's bond issue, they're really giving more money to welfare slackers.

"Yeah, it's like mailing platinum credit cards to everyone on food stamps." What the hogs slopping at the trough can't get through their heads is that business NEVER PAYS A TAX, and they will pay for it with higher prices and rent and wind up with a lower standard of living.
