This is interesting but won't do much to hurt Davis. Too long ago and your average person already assumes he's corrupt. Davis doesn't need to worry - especially with the S.F. Bay Area TV media. This story will never see broadcast time.

KTVU from San Jose had a 8 minute segment about Davis at 10:30 during the news after the World Series game tonight. It was amazing. It was essentially an 8 minute ad for the Davis campaign. Complete with photos and film clips from his childhood, and an old film of his mom reading a letter that Davis wrote to her when he was a young boy. There were photos of Davis in uniforms from different military schools that he attended as a boy. They also showed clips from a humorous video that was produced last year for a dinner event featuring Davis trying to be more personable. Even a clip of his wife saying how great a man he is. The entire segment looked like it came from Davis campaign headquarters. The purpose of the whole segment was to make Davis look like a warm and caring guy (in spite of the ice cold exterior). No sir - The (Bay Area) media would have no use for a scandal this late in the game.

Shameless presstitutes, the lot of them. Still, the SacBee spent probably $100 thousand to unseal this thing and it will get coverage. It is kind of redundant, however, as everybody knows how corrupt Davis is. Thankfully, he is loathed and while his tens of millions in attack ads on Simon have driven Simon's numbers down with those of Davis, Grayout's aren't going up. I saw both the Simon hack piece and the Davi$ huggs a bunch piece the last 2 nights.. What a pile of mediacrap. There is little true political commentary in the Bay Areathese days. Biased beyond repair..
