Kalifornia voters are stupid. Our schools are in the bottom 10% (we're 47th I think) and people think Davis will try and fix them during his 2nd term. I think he's targeting homeschoolers vis-a-vis Delaine Easton to get a quick bump up in scores if she can force all homeschoolers back into the gubmint diploma mill..I mean schools.

This state is a state of morons. I grew up in the central valley where normal people live, but this year finally did it. The state has gotten so bad that my wife and I have now decided that as soon as we can move - we're out of here.

of which 1,538 were registered voters and 1,000 were likely voters. That's quite a large ratio of registered voters to likely voters. It pretty much invalidates the poll.

This world is about to get a stark education in good and evil. And all the secular education in the world isn't going to amount to a hill of beans. Either you allow the Holy Spirit to lead you and guide you into ALL truth, or the spirit of deception will lead you into destruction. If you can pass this test, you will graduate into eternal life, if you fail, lets just say your future looks very bleak.

I find it amazing that education is the most important issue as our economy falls to pieces. If we could get the word out, I think Davis would lose a lot of support.
If he's really serious about fixing the schools, he should have broken up the notoriously bad LAUSD [Los Angeles Unified School District]. But he won't, because the teachers' unions love it.
Anyone have a chart of how much our school budget spends on administration versus in-classroom expenses? I seem to remember the figures were pretty horrifying.
