At Baron's Books in Anaheim, employee Myra Vevenecia, a 39-year-old Orange County Republican, says, "I haven't made up my mind on which one, only because they both seem pretty rotten. It's not going to be Simon or Davis. I'm thinking, actually, the Green Party guy, I don't know his name. That will be a first."

Yeah, Right a Republican voting GREEN...Pretty confused!!!

PS: Simon is going to WIN by 3%. Count on it.

The voters think Davis is bad because he is (they've seen him in action for four years). They think Simon is bad because the media and the Democrats have told them he is and
they fell for it. It's a sad commentary on the deductive reasoning abilities of the average voter.

California is gone anyway. Simply vote No on all bonds. Hold the fort as long as you can. Further, we have a shot at the judges. A large contingent of these hacks are up for confirmation. As for voting for the rest; who is in who is out matters not.

"most Catholics favor Davis..." I don't beleive a word of it! The people they interviewed have to be the most uninformed I ever heard of. How anyone who is knowledgeable of the Dimwit's record and incompetence could vote for him is absolutely astonishing.

I still think Simon has a good chance if the fraud isn't too massive. These undecided voters have strong reasons not to vote for Davis but only weak reasons not to vote for Simon.

If the Republican party had really backed Simon, he would now be ahead. But he still has an excellent chance, in spite of the media blackout and the desperate shortage of funds.

Because of Dem corruption and access to union help, Republicans usually need twice the money to even things out. Simon has been starved of funds by the RNC, the Republican operators, and the fat cats. If he can win in those circumstances, it will be a miracle. But he may.

""When a candidate is calling the other a criminal and the other is calling his opponent an incompetent, there's not a lot left for most voters," says Dan Schnur, a Republican consultant and former aide to Gov. Pete Wilson."

When one candidate is, for certain, both criminal and incompetent...and the other might conceivably be merely incompetent...the choice is really pretty clear, isn't it, Mr. Schnur?

Only in California could they be undecided between a complete idiot like Davis and Simon. My guess is that they will add their own insult to their own injury by electing Davis. On the other hand, California may well go bust in the next 4 years as a result of Davis' mismanagement. It may be better to let Mr. Davis have credit for his own mistakes.

Tick, tick, tick...

Let's get out the vote! Here's a tool...

Click here to download the California Republican Liberty Caucus' tri-fold pamphlet on the governor's race!

It's a .pdf file, so you'll need Acrobat Reader... it's free, and chances are good you already have it on your computer. Try the link and see.

Print it using the printer-icon button in the Acrobat toolbar in your browser (not File|Print in your browser's menu). It's intended for double-sided printing using single pieces of paper-- no stapling needed if you do it that way, and saves trees! ;-) Print one side, then invert the paper and feed it through a second time for the second side. Fold, and sally forth to get out the vote!

Give this to friends, walk your neighborhood, take it to stores, give a wad of 'em to your school, hand some out at your house of worship, at clubs, at stores and small businesses...

Let's retire Gray Davis!

Let's show the media and RINOs that "It's the base, stupid!"

Let's show Gray Davis that money can't buy him love ...or re-election!

Freepers and RLC activists can claim considerable credit for nominating Bill Simon, so now let's elect him!

"When a candidate is calling the other a criminal and the other is calling his opponent an incompetent, there's not a lot left for most voters," says Dan Schnur, a Republican consultant and former aide to Gov. Pete Wilson."

Duhhh! We know for a fact that Davis is criminal (with his routine of quid pro quo legislation benefiting groups with citizens' tax money in return for campaign contributions that he keeps for himself instead of depositing into the State's Treasury - after all, it's our tax money that he is using as bait) but, we don't know how incompetent Simon is or if he is at all. All we have is Davis' word on that and we know Davis is a liar. I don't recommend taking the word of a liar, a corrupt liar at that.

True, Simon did not carry out a well orchestrated campaign based on the issues. He coulda shoulda but didn't. But in the final analysis, we already know what are the issues so let's not kid ourselves. My vote will be a for Simon vote and a big against Davis vote. I am outraged with Davis. I hope a majority of the voters at the moment they enter the voting booths feel this outrage against Davis and vote for Simon whether they have to hold their noses or not.
