God speed you all!

FWIW, don't let the turnout get you guys down; always remember that for every person standing with you there are dozens who are with you in spirit. And if a reporter asks "Where are all your supporters?", you can tell them that 100,000 or so are either over in the Gulf or on there way there, wearing the uniform of the US military. We don't have the benefit of a deep-pockets communist organization providing buses for our side, either.

Don't forget your flags!

Of course they got the time wrong, suprising for this liberal lefty rag NO!

I've come to recognize this as SOP for the lefty papers, and am firm in the belief that they do this on purpose, so that people who want to come out and stand with us have trouble finding us.

The only war I have ever been for was against afghanistan and we lost that one. Bin Laden is still alive isn't he? The Taliban still operates and so does al-quaida. That equals a loss in my book

There is no chance you are a conservative. Conservatives know that freedom is not free, and that living in fear of terrorism is not really freedom. I suspect you would never defend you country for ANY reason if it involved the chance of bodily harm.

You aren't a thinking person-you are a misled person. Especially when you have the audacity to claim Afganistan is a loss without even ONCE mentioning the marvels our hard working and IN DANGER troops are doing there, along with other nations, to bring that distraught nation in to the 21st century.

Have you EVER ONCE gone to Diogenesis threads and even ONCE glanced at the marvelous photos of the women, children and men of Afganistan---hugging American soldiers with tears in their faces.

Have you EVEN once SEEN the pictures of the little girls joyful faces as they attend classes (schools and other major infrastructure built by AMERICAN knowhow) for the first time?

Have you seen the pictures of little boys and girls PLAYING FOR THE FIRST TIME ON PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AND FLYING KITES since outdoor play was BANNED by the TALIBAN?

Where is your heart, you seem to have plenty of coldness? On some commie billboard?

Thought you'd appreciate this

Sorry-but that post up there is the biggest bunch of hogwash I have ever seen.

You still didn't respond to what I asked about Afganistan.

Get your pompous, pious, short-sighed self over that Diogenesis threads-hint: keyword-gotta see this-and try to trash what our FANTASTIC WONDERFUL COURAGEOUS NATION, OUR MILITARY, to be specific, HAS BEEN DOING THERE.

THAT.......my misled fellow FReeper..... IS COMPASSION IN ACTION!

Not you shallow hogwallaring from your cozy seat in front of your computer screen. That is not compassion, compassion is ACTION not INTENTION.

You say that action is compassion. Do you mean military action?

In the case of this great nation, you BET I mean compassion. Compassion isn't sitting on your arse pontificating on the horrors of war, COMPASSION is getting off your arse and doing something actually compassionate.

And if you think for one sick second that what our COURAGEOUS military isn't compassionate, then you, too, are undereducated, lacking in knowledge of what is going on there RIGHT NOW because of our nation's great capacity to respect the GOD GIVEN right of every human being to be free.

And of COURSE we cannot go maurauding into every nation that suffers an evil tyrant at its helm, but THANK GOD Saddam has provided the justification for going after his vile self, and while you are at it, THANK OUR FATHER in HEAVEN that you are so blessed to live in this nation where people just like you and me, suffered and bled and DIED so that you could pontificate your viewpoint.

Just like moi.

Iraq is not a threat. Never has been.

Nuff said. You and I are so far apart this issue that the chances of me remaining civil aren't too good. As a matter of fact, I remember that people said the same thing here in America about Hitler not so many years ago. Those who cannot learn from history are forced to repeat it-Thank God we have a President with the intelligence and courage to learn from history, to understand, that is, what Saddam is about, and to take action to prevent that boob from endangering others. Go ahead and call this an unjust war all you want, I feel for ya, but, hey, it's a free country (thanks to our soldiers who fought for all of us).
