See we didn't know about this peace rally until Wed (2 days ago) and I applied for the permit and she just called and said since they already had a permit issued for the Anarchists that we couldn't have one. That was the Capital Police.
I've been trying for 2 days to get a hold of the Raleigh city PD at the permit # and get a permit from them but nobody answers the phone. I've tried the police non-emergency number and was on hold for 30 min.
I can't begin to tell you how frustrated I am. If anyone has any suggestions I'm open to them. Connections in the PD would be nice.
We'd like to have it at the Fayetteville St. Mall across the street from the Capital Bldg.
