Not really by definition I will always be a flat lander, cause, you can't become a maineiac until your family has been there for 4 generations.

I did enjoy calling everybody in Mass those damn southern rebels, (ted kennedies boot legging nazi loving family and supporters have no sense of humor.)

I hate to lower the level of the discussion, but what the heck. During my only trip to Main (the Freiburg Fair (SP?), I noticed something unmistakable about the people I saw. As a group they were extraordinarily ugly. I know that sounds like one heck of a generalization, but while sitting on a bench to watch for babes, I started to realize that there just weren’t any to be seen. Thousands of people passed my perch. Few, if any, merited a second glance. After taking note of this appalling situation, I decided to take a look at the broader population, not just young females. Regardless of age or gender, the situation was just disgraceful. There was bad hair and bad teeth, but more than anything, very bad skin. To a person, pasty-white, sandpaper complexion was the norm. Having traveled extensively in the US and Europe, I had never before encountered such uniform and persistent ugliness in a group of people. Anybody disagree with this assessment, or have any explanation for it?

You want to check out babes, come to any medium-sized town in Texas. I work in Abilene, and the place is just crawling with great-looking women. For some reason, the local Target store seems to attract them- I get a crick in my neck every time I go in that place.

What do the residents of Maine call racial diversity, a brunette, a blonde and a redhead?
Sorry, but about 2 hours ago my governor, Davis, just made it legal for illegals to have driver's licenses.
You don't really know what diversity is, trust me.

Some of us, who are French Canadians, are Conservative Republicans, and are working very hard to change the Democratic vote in Maine..

I am sorry you feel my country of origin is an issue here..
on second thought , I am NOT sorry..stay where you are.

I have never brought up anyone's country of origin in a post, and neither should you!

Revised Top 10 reasons to move to, or live in Maine..

1. Lobster!

2. Low population, less crime.

3. The Ocean

4. The desire and will to change the politics of Maine.

5. The Allegash

6. Bar Habour.

7. The desire to join the "two Maines'..the Northern part, where poverty is rampant, and the Southern part, where the wealthy live.

8. A fine place to raise your kids.

9. To change this State's utilities rates, and taxes.

10. Stop dressing like a Mainer after shopping at L.L. Beans, and truely become one!

I pretty much agree with you about your winter and summer posts, however reluctantly..
