Over a decade ago, I stumbled across a book on those awarded The Congressional
Medal of Honor.
I got my eyes opened when I saw how many were Hispanic/Latino.

To anyone who went threw the enlistment process, you would probably know how incredibly inept the military is at verifying the information you put down. Basically they run your name and fingerprints through the FBI's criminal backround check, and if nothing comes up your in.
I am not surprised at all.

I would venture to say that this guy has already done more for this country than you have. He has EARNED the right to be an American citizen, not just benefited from an accident of birth.

I am dead against illegal immigration. Millions need to be kicked out of the United States but not this guy. Though I would limit it to only illegal aliens who see combat or serve in a war zone would be allowed to slide.

There are thousands of Al Qaida that would like a chance to enlist in our armed forces illegally.
We should't be rewarding illegal behavior under any circumstances.
What else can you lie about on your applications for military service or employment with the federal government?

Just illegals. And truth be known while this guy served our country he is an illegal.
Had he turned out to be a terrorist everyone would want his head. What he did was illegal and should not be rewarded.

I agree, this continues to blow the "they only come here to do jobs americans won't do" bs out of the water.
What he did was dangerous for us as a nation.

But, I have one question do you have problems with Americans who are part Mexican who are good citizens and fight for this country or just illegals? Welcome aboard...we have many Freeper's who are 1/2 Mexican, mexican, indian etc. Our fight is only with the illegal issue G.

Only problem here is with illegals immigrants and states in America that issue illegals drivers licenses and/or freebies. Don't care what shade of gray they are or what language they speak.
As for this soldier I salute him. He paid his dues and I welcome him as an American citizen helping us pull the wagon.
Go Army.
