Those American virtues are a tough sell in CA. We’ll see.
A conservative can’t seriously win in today’s California at the state level. Tom McClintock would be the Governor today in California, if conservatism could seriously win at the state level. At least California still has some Republican House members. In Massachusetts, where I’m from, there only a very small amount of Republicans, at the most local levels of political office!
