Oh, yes, I remember over this past year hearing of several SCOTUS cases where the Court became prejudiced against a party to one of the cases they were considering as a result of some rant the party wrote on the Internet.

On her blog, she posted the phone number of the Supreme Court and asked people to phone in and protest. I'm sure that helped her with the Court a lot.

Oh, yes, I remember over this past year hearing of several SCOTUS cases where the Court became prejudiced against a party to one of the cases they were considering as a result of the tally of phone calls mentioning the party, pro-or-con to SCOTUS' general reception number. Each one had the BS-meter reading and averages were kept as running totals, with triple dings against the party if filthy language was used during such calls.

I'm sure that... That and $1.50 can probably still get you a cup of coffee at your local Woolworth counter.
