"I suspect that the main difference in their overall approval ratings is among African-Americans, not whites."
Gee, ya think?!

Imagine how unpopular Obama would be if the press and the late night comedians (who are at least as important as the press) treated Obama as they treated Bush.
That's not saying very much for the importance of late-night comedians. Kinda like claiming you're the smartest kid on the short bus.

Exactly.
Pathetic MSM misleading the sheeple about Obama being moderate/middle of the road.
Obama should be hitting record lows for any President with the way he’s going.
HOWEVER...
does he care?
Make tens of millions of illegals legal... and allow felons to vote... there’s the new Dem voter base.

New record. In 14 short months, Obama has achieved Bush’s approval score and has beaten his ability to run up a deficit. There is a strong correlation between the two (items, not presidents), I think.

So it only took Obama one year what took Bush eight years. Now the msm wan constantly beating up and lying about Bush and they are giving their full support to Obama. If the media was playing it straight Obama would be down to 15%
To: 2ndDivisionVet
The voters definitely should have put experience and maturity ahead of their desire to have a “historic” president. “Historic” doesn’t do much good when the country and its economy is in shambles.

Even though it’s considered low, I still believe it is not that high!
To: FlingWingFlyer
Historic doesnt do much good when the country and its economy is in shambles.
That was the plan of 'Historic' - according to his plan he's winning.

Or to smoke four packs of cigarettes in a hour. Wish someone had the pic of Bam smoking four at a time.

If the media was playing it straight Obama would be down to 15% That's an important point. Then again, he wouldn't even have gotten elected if the media played it straight.

I don’t know who Ras is polling but I can’t believe Obama has as much support as he’s claiming.
Right now it seems everyone is talking politics - the topic is coming up everywhere. It sounds so tin foilish to say this; sortof like liberals who claimed Bush stole his elections because they knew nobody who voted for him, but the fact is I can’t find anyone who supports Obama either! At least now I know how they felt.
From a short conversation waiting in line at a store to acquaintances, close friends and family, even the most liberal people I know simply do not support him. His poll numbers do not seem to jive with reality.
Who and where is Ras polling?

I dont know who Ras is polling but I cant believe Obama has as much support as hes claiming. I can, but I live in New York. Most of the Dems I talk to who have misgivings about Obama merely tell me that Hillary should have received the nomination.
