The best that can be said of Campbell is that he isn't Boxer.

Either Fiorina or Devore, preferably the latter, need to get out of the primary race so conservatives stop splitting the vote which benefits the “moderate” Cambpell. Nothing against Devore, I just think Fiorina will fare better in a general election race including robbing some of Boxer’s female support which Devore wouldn’t do.

It will almost be worse to replace Boxer with Campbell. Every time Campbell votes with the Dems - which will be painfully frequent - it will give the imprimatur of the dreaded “bipartisanship” to whatever craptastic legislation the Dems are stuffing down our throat.

Yep. Whichever one bites the bullet, SOMEONE has to bit the bullet. Unless they act like grownups, the general election will be a choice between a communist and a Marxist.

Time for Devore to throw his support to Fiorina!

Given the choice between voting for someone because of their gender and voting for someone because of what they believe, I'll opt for the latter.

Devore is the right guy to challenge Boxer.

How can you say that so unequivocally? She certainly has a better shot at taking some of the female independents who'd otherwise vote for Boxer than would Devore. I'm not saying she'd take many if any of Boxer's DemBot female supporters, but she could syphon off some of her independent supporters who are tired of Boxer's inattention to California and her rubber stamp approval of everything Obama does.

I'm no fan of Campbell and won't support him in the GOP primary, but I'm not sure how he could possibly be worse than Boxer who votes 100% Democratic party line. I don't think Campbell at his worst would get within a mile of that gruesome voting record, though like you say I don't trust him to vote conservative all of the time. Still, I'll take a half a plate of what I want from Campbell rather than a full plate of what I don't want from Boxer. In the end if nothing else, Campbell giving the boot to Boxer gets us one seat closer to putting Senate Dems back into the minority where they so richly deserve to be.

Carly once had cancer if I remember correctly (and not long ago). Thus the short hair.

California may as well reelect Boxer. Maybe DeVore should throw his support to Forina.

Fiornia was in bed with the McCain campaign. Time to get rid of the McCain types, imo.

Who else was she going to support, Obama? To my recollection, she wasn't on board with him until after he won the GOP primary. She, like many of us, simply worked for McCain to keep BamBam out of the White House. I probably made a 1000 phone calls for McCain's 2008 campaign from home. Doesn't make me a RINO. Just means I was passionate about keeping this Socialist Scourge out of the White House.
