Ryan needs to be where he is, just like Kasich needed to be where he was and for the same reasons. If we are ever going to have a stable economy again, we need the same perserverance that Kasich showed. It paid off.
You can’t strip the good guys fom the senate or the house. It defeats the purpose.
Ryan would only be out of pocket from July 2012 until the election. If they won, he could have Palin put him, as VP, as the person in charge of balancing the budget. He would have more power as VP than in the House, IMHO.
He might be able to run for re-election in the house at the same time, a la Lieberman.
