Romney spent $50 MILLION DOLLARS on anti-Newt negative ads in Florida. He spent $20 MILLION DOLLARS on anti-Newt ads in Iowa.
It doesn’t matter, that’s pocket change for politicians. Newt siphons off votes from Santorum. Newt only needs to stay in the race long enough guarantee enough delegates so that Romney can coast across the finish line with about 30% of the delegates from each of the remaining “proportional” States.
This is hilarious, as in "when I was a child, we had to walk 10 miles to school, uphill both ways" kind of hilarious.
By next week, we'll be told ROmney spent a billion dollars on negative ads against Gingrich, starting back in 1994.
The truth is bad enough, the wild exageration isn't necessary.
