Newt Gingrich and Sarah Palin will be the 2012 GOP Nominees in Tampa.

Love your idea, and believe me, I'd love to see it happen, but I've got to say that the only flaw in your scenario, is that you correctly identify Sarah Palin as the 50,000 megawatt electromagnet that pulls everyone together, but only to hand it off to Newt Gingrich.

Personally, I think that's backwards and counter-intuitive. If Newt should rightfully lead the nation back to sanity, then he ought to be that electromagnet that pulls everyone together, not Sarah.

But, do you think he can? I wouldn't bet on it. No, the brightest star in our pantheon is the natural choice, as far as I'm concerned. She's the only one who has what it takes to ignite our people to action and bring us all together. She's the Reagan of our era, and should be our presidential nominee.

You have this right. Sarah for POTUS as the GOP candidate. Let Gingrich function as VP and Chief of Staff and attack dog.
