I have yet to see ANYTHING from you or any other Romney cheerleader (and admit it that is what you have decided to become) that advances ANY REASON whatsoever to believe that Romney's choices for SCOTUS or any other court would be any better than Obozo's. Remember that Earl Warren, William Brennan (himself a Demonrat), Potter Stewart, Herod Blackmun, Lewis Powell, John Paul Stevens, Sandra Day O'Connor, David "Swish" Souter were all GOP nominees. Nixon also named G. Harold Carswell who was later arrested, ummmm, on his knees in a country club men's room but we were assured by the Trickster on Carswell's nomination that he was a dependable "conservative", at least as that term is understood by Romney's GOP-E polo club buddies.
Take a look at today's WaPo and today's George Will column on court appointments. Then find the link for Romney's judicial appointment track record in Massachusetts (a 5 page WaPo very detailed article by some staff writer). Brush up on history and weep for your fraud of a candidate. It does not matter that you like Gingrich and Palin if you are willing to sell the republic down the river.
As of now, CONSERVATIVES have LOST this election IF Romney is nominated. It just does not matter whether the next POTUS is Romney or Obozo: ideological brothers separated at birth. BOTH must be politically destroyed. NEITHER is acceptable. The time for militant resistance is at hand (BEFORE the election as well as after).
That is why the republic faces imminent death. We knew that Obozo would be renominated by his, ummm, comrades, but who would EVER have imagined that the ubercorrupt Romney could possibly use the anonymous shadow funding of his fellow Wall Street unprincipled corruptocrats to BUY the GOP nomination via a relentless campaign of lies, slanders, and libels against each and every decent candidate for the GOP nomination, aided and abetted by the GOP's stupidity in allowing the lame stream media enemies to control the debates and coverage? It is time for actual conservatives and actual Republicans to walk away unless the GOP National convention revolts and nominates an acceptable ticket (one that does NOT include Myth Romney or any other lying whore like him).
Return to paragraph 1 and accept the challenge to actually explain why Romney's appointments to courts can be expected to be any better than Obozo's OR stop emulating your hero by repeating his lies.
All I have ever said is that we are down to two choices in this Election, The Republican or the Communist.
Don't Vote for the Republican, you get the Communist. Don't bother Voting and convince others to do the same and you end up with every last down Ticket Republican getting decimated.
Obama, Pelosi and Reid will thank us for our lack of participation. I Voted for Newt and he lost. That is why we have Primaries. Republican Primary Voters picked Romney without any support from any FReeper I am aware of.
Everyone is still acting like we are at the beginning of the Primary Season. It's over. Don't attack the messenger. There is no Third Party Candidate, Write In Candidate or hope that another Republican Nominee will be chosen at the Convention. Reality is a bitch.
As far as your last point, I and others here believe we have a chance of influencing a RINO Republican President as we did with Bush. Not all the time, but a chance none the less.
You have no chance influencing Obama who thinks of us like we are his worst enemy. He will continue to do everything he can do to grind Conservatism into the ground. If you think Romney has the same mission in life, there is no point continuing the discussion. That is flat out ridiculous.
As I have said before, do what you think is right, but I assure you there are no Romney lovers here. Attacking your fellow FReepers for wanting Obama out accomplishes nothing.
