Good point on Patton. And I to have been To Bastogne and ol’Georges grave and one thing Patton was not was a quiter of defeatist. He did not give up when the Germans were swarming through the Ardennes he bucked up and told Ike that he could get his army turned around and headed up to the German flank the day after tomorrow morning. He did and he turned 3 divisions around and helped break the Germans hold on Bastogne. Patton never gave up, he never showed defeatism. I to have studied Patton and Patton@Bastogne is nothing like the real George S Patton. Thanks for you comment to.
