You might be right. You usually are. But, this time, I hope you are wrong.

The one question in my mind is what has happened to all of the money that the campaign and the PACs have raised?

When are we going to see the fruits of that labor?

I’m not in a battleground state, but I am in a light blue state. Obama is 3 points ahead here, according to the last poll. Michelle was in Seattle...why?

There’s something going on and I don’t understand the reasoning behind it.

Romney’s poll numbers are getting better without the expenditures.

There’s something going on and I don’t understand the reasoning behind it.

There is a malevolent, lying, controlling spirit that hangs over Washington. It's the same one that runs the Middle East peace process. Most pols are on board with it by default (it's speaks in their native tongue - deceit), but the rest it must "invite" with whatever threat will work. Fear has been a pretty reliable motivator.

Well there goes the squishy GOP, because the spineless amoebas can be easily squished into a corner.

The GOP has allowed the enemy to dictate the terms (think "peace" process). The terms always mean surrender, death, and destruction, so long as the enemy is crafting the documents.

When are we going to see the fruits of that [fundraising] labor?

When an invertebrate in the mix is willing to stand up and claim a spine.

One president stood in stark opposition to the way of the world (and its lying spirit): Ronald Reagan. Everybody knows it. He prospered and functioned on a level so far above the media gotcha games and perverse tactics of the left that they marveled in awe and respect (even if in complete revulsion and bitterness).

He succeed because at the core of his being was Truth. Just plain old goodness, love, and strength of character. He wasn't perfect, but his heart was. That is, he was like David, a man after God's own heart (and David pulled some really evil and self-serving stunts). Reagan's enemies preferred the path of lies. Thus they could only hope to craft schemes to bring him down.

The point is, while the GOP is full of gutless worms, we know it is capable of producing a warrior (read: fearless) David who can take down Goliath with one well-aimed stone.

I've got to hope that the desperate times (of universal deceit) that have placed America into immediate peril, will push Mitt to jump on the same highway that Reagan travelled. No speed bumps, deer, or toll booths.

That's the only road out of the wilderness, yet no pol thusfar is willing to take it. *That's* what everyone is nervous about.

Speaking of polls (and Goliath), we know that truth is crucified at the place of the poll. The message was written here long ago, for anyone who finds it of interest:

Mark 15

22 And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull.
23 And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not.
24 And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take.
25 And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.

1115 Golgotha {gol-goth-ah'} of Aramaic origin [cf 01538]

01538 gulgoleth {gul-go'-leth}
by reduplication from 01556; TWOT - 353l; n f
AV - poll 7, scull 2, every man 2, head 1; 12
1) head, poll, skull
1a) skull
1b) head, poll (of census)

Screw the polls and their deceiving "expected" outcomes. What we need is for Goliath to lose *his* head at the place of the truth.

Every state is a battleground state, a valley of decision as it were.

I’m just hoping that the plan has been for Romney to lull Obama and the MSM into a false sense of security by being bland pre-debate.

Then come out and smack Obama around like he did to Newt in SC, hard and repeatedly.

If he doesn’t, well, he’s going to lose.
