if you want to annex western canada, I could maybe get the albertan lads to agree, but we’d want carry rights, self defense rights, and property rights, and basically un-restrained freedom, under natural law. Otherwise that would be a long bloody war heh, they call us Texas of the north for no reason :P

Since I live in the Texas of the South, I understand and agree with your sentiments. Your region of Canada and our section of the country would get along just fine. Everything you mention is what we call another day in Texas. Ted Cruz is an excellent import from Canada and we are glad to have him. Can you please take Jim Carrey back?
If you ever get the chance, come on down and visit us sometime. Texans, for the most part, are very friendly. Just make sure it is not during the Summer. Your Maple Leaf might melt. LOL.
