were here to help a whole bunch of folks out there, our neighbors, our friends, our communities, who are struggling still and need our help $hithead knows very well that the people he aims to "help" aren't struggling - they aren't even trying!
They get up, go to the mailbox and get their welfare check, then they head out to the nearest party.

"The good thing is theyve got some outstanding members of Congress who are willing to fight for them regardless of the political cost, starting with your leader, Nancy Pelosi.
Bwahahahahha. Puuulese. Show one single time where Nancy Pelosi has ever taken a stand on something which had even a potential for a "political cost".

That’s quite a bit of chutzpah from the guy who, in 2012, left the Democratic Senate Election Committee (or whatever it’s called) high and dry by refusing to share funds with them.
But, you know, at the end of the day, I think Obama really doesn’t give a hoot about anyone in his party beyond their ability to push through his agenda. Eggs must be broken to make an omelet, and all that.

Way to lead from behind, there, Sparky.
The interesting thing is that the dems don’t seem to realize what he’s actually telling them is that he’s already made them irrelevant with his extensive use of EO and subjective application of law, so if they “take one for the team” it doesn’t matter, because they’re just pawns and politically expendable.

They get up, go to the mailbox and get their welfare check, then they head out to the nearest party. They don't even have to go to the mailbox. Now that they've made everything electronic transfer and given them credit cards, all they have to do is party on. Can't have the humiliation of somebody seeing a welfare check in your mailbox, you know.

I can visualize a photo of Jimmy Carter with caption “You Miss me yet?” Then a photo of Pee Wee Herman with same caption.

even if we continue to get a little resistance from the other side. What "resistance"? Courtesy of Boehner and McConnell, you got a blank check on spending for the next 12 1/2 months.

Right. Direct deposit, and food stamps are debit cards that are automatically recharged at midnight of the first of every month. That's why there are no soup lines stretching around the block.

Look how many fell on their sword in 2010. And nothing they did has been undone. They’ll do it again.
And with no opposition from the gopE they just might get away with it this time.
