If Jeb runs at all it will be just to “play” the role . Republican party is making a serious mistake if they put up as many candidates as before.......it looked stupid then and it will look so again if they do that...there’s not time to “play let’s pretend we want to run for President”....we need our best up front and center...Jeb isn’t one of them.

I agree. This needs to be strictly business, not a vanity or ‘bucket list’ type of project. By this time next Labor Day, 2015, we should be down to the last three or four at most candidates. Hopefully Ted Cruz or at least Rand Paul will be among the ‘fantastic four’.

There was no way, no way, that it would nominate McCain in 2008, and no way it would nominate Romney in 2012.
It is truly become the stupid party expecting people to vote "against" leftism by voting for candidates who embrace leftist government policies, from nationalized health care with on-demand abortion to forced acceptance of open homosexuality. Republican or Democrat, the vote is for the same overall thing: more amoral government tyranny.
Americans are smarter than that.
Very funny. In all the vitriol that FreeRepublic has become toward what was once our own, it is refreshing to read a witty and genuinely funny comment.
I agree, but I am thinking of it from a spiritual standpoint. I believe the Obungler is God's judgment on America for her sins. Since it looks like America still has not turned from her sins (abortion, homosexuality, and other things too) more judgment is necessary, and the Hildebeast will be the continuation of God's judgment on America. I could be wrong, but that is my opinion.

Palin is my first choice by a huge margin, but I hope we will unite behind Ted Cruz. We need more conservatives than RINOs voting, and we have to make sure we don't split our votes. Let's watch the RINO vote split between Bush, Christie, and Rubio while we select just one champion to support. Cruz has shown a great deal of backbone on most critical issues, and he would be a good or possibly great president.
Palin would be even better, but she didn't run last time after talking about it and acting like she might. I'm going to assume she's not in it this time unless she announces otherwise. America cannot afford another loser, nor can we afford a winner who will fail to roll back the creeping (and creepy) growth of government control over our lives.
Actually I’m also among those who would consider George Prescott Bush for the office.

Who in their right mind is going to vote for Jeb Bush? He’s being pushed into this. I have never thought he really wanted to run for President. Mitt was my last lesser of two weevils vote.
To run against Hitlery in the Dim primary?
