Exactly what everybody’s been saying. BUT. You don't see NYT Editorial trumpet it as ‘negativity won’.
Oh, no. “Everybody” was mesmerized by Obama’s shiny brilliancy and HOPE, and CHANGE. Of course.

Scott you were the epitome of negativity! You gave the GOP zero change to take the senate...predicting a max of +3 pickups. I told you not to whine before the vote actually occurred but you wouldn’t listen.
Are you ready to man up and apologize for trying to bring everyone down with your defeatism?

The republicans only won because of VOTER FRAUD! They CHEATED! The democrats should stop all the republican cheating by passing voter ID laws, cleaning the voter roles, and keeping illegals from voting...

The ‘rat ads were despicable in their brazen lies and character defamation of their opponents. The local ‘rat incumbent was defeated by a political newbie 57-43.
I would say the negativity decided the election.

As usual, the old grey whore is attempting to spin events like a top. Never before have I enjoyed reading a NYTimes editorial as much as this one! What a pile of manure. LOL

every Republican candidate campaigned on only one thing: what they called the failure of President ObamaExactly, voters sent a clear message to overturn everything Obama - a mandate.

Negativity Wins the Senate
No, it didn't. Actually, it did. In the sense that the Republicans didnt run on anything other than how bad it was to have voted 96%+ for Obama policies, which all Dem senators did. Since they ran on nothing else, the Republicans have a mandate to repeal ObamaCare, build Keystone XL, etc. Thats the only message the voters could have sent with the vote. If they wanted more cooperation with Obama, they could have voted for Democrat control of the House. They didnt.

I guess the editorial board at the NYTs is stewing over the fact the elections didn't get cancelled
