All things being equal, couldn’t hurt.

After Obimbo we’ll wait 200 years for the next black president.

If Ben Carson he weren’t Black, he wouldn’t be pushed by the Republicans to run and he wouldn’t be running. America should stop making race the first factor. If it’s a Black you’re wanting to back, then Allen West has more relevant experience to be president of the U.S. than does Ben Carson. West could and would run even if he were not Black.

I don’t want a black, white, rainbow, queer, tranny, illegal immigrant male or female candidate - I want an American-loving, Constitution-abiding QUALIFIED candidate to run!

No - I do not agree at all.

We need the most qualified Conservative for the job.

Who gives a damn what the person looks like!

So damned sick and tired of this crap. Go with the most qualified possible in all situations: heart surgeon, plumber, president - what that person looks like is immaterial.

He’s a very bright guy, and my impression is that he is sincere. I think it would be fantastic if he runs. Give him a chance. If you don’t like what he says, don’t vote for him in the primaries. It takes a lot of guts, IMHO, for someone with no political background to take a leap of faith and run for office because they think things aren’t going in the right direction. He would add a great amount of interest to the primaries.
