Elizabeth Warren Polishes Her Class Warfare Rhetoric
PJ Tatler ^ | November 19, 2014 | Stephen Kruiser

Okayyyyyyy…

Elizabeth Warren, in her first major public speech since being elevated to the Democratic leadership in the Senate, slammed Republicans on education, job creation and other economic policies, warning Wednesday that “the American Dream is slipping out of reach.”

“We must fight back with everything we have,” Warren told a gathering hosted by the Center for American Progress in Washington. “The game is rigged but we know how to fix it. We know what to do. We tested the Republican ideas and they failed. They failed spectacularly there’s no denying that fact.”

As a science fiction fan, I have always hoped that evidence of parallel dimensions would show up during my lifetime and it would appear that the Democrats have been giving it to me for the last couple of weeks. They don’t seem to understand just how overwhelming their defeat was in this last election and that it was a rejection of their ideas, which are the ones that have been tested in this universe.

Warren even managed to tie taxpayer spending on high speed rail to the American Dream, which couldn’t possibly have involved any sort of thought process.

There isn’t an American alive who wakes up hoping for a better life through direct or indirect taxation, that’s the “Progressive Dream” and only the fevered fringes of American politics are having it.

For those who think she isn’t running for 2016, this is pretty much boilerplate Democrat presidential rhetoric. There’s always a lot of “fight” and “dream” talk, as well as scary stories about what the Republicans are doing to the middle class. In the politically diseased minds of progressives, the middle class will get better if it spends a lot more on health care premiums and pays for high speed rail to get to the poor house.

Scratch the parallel dimension idea, maybe they’re merely concussed.

I think Warren's biggest electoral vulnerability is her own damning words, in which she publicly claims to have created the looney, juvenile, business destroying, socially disruptive, disease-laded, out of control, intellectually bankrupt, philosophically incoherent, America-hating, unsanitary, disgusting, left-wing extremist temper-tantrum movement Occupy Wall Street:

“I created much of the intellectual foundation for what they do,” she says. “I support what they do.”

Conservatives need to endlessly tie her to Occupy Wall Street, recapping the horrific images of its appalling behavior:

Democrat denial knows no limits. The “stupid” voters did this to them.

I don’t get that she’s ultimately a threat. She’s a female Dukakis.

I wouldn't have considered her a plausible presidential candidate, or even a general election winner, had I not watched in disbelief as Obama came out of nowhere to win in 2008, and then win again in 2012.

I can easily see her winning the Dem nomination in 2016, and I can imagine the RINO Republican candidate being afraid to take her on aggressively out of fear of the War on Women crap.

I marvel at how stupid she is in the literal ignorant and low-IQ sense of the word.

Almost 30 years of wide-open population transfers from the third-would mean that, demographically, the USA of 1988 is long gone.

Romney got a larger share of the white vote than Reagan, and still lost decisively to Hussein Obama.

Even a lefty kook like Warren needs only 40 percent of whites to win. Being female and alive is probably enough to swing that.

The threat could be that she makes Hillary look good by comparison.

A lot of people wake up every day hoping for higher taxes — it’s pretty mainstream.

Liberals writing for mass audiences talk about uncapping Social Security tax as if its an obvious good (or, rather, that Social Security tax being capped is an obvious giveaway to the undeserving “rich”). That it would instantly hike the effective tax (employer + employee) by 12.4% of wages, close to a 30% increase in average tax burden, they don’t care.

And it gets heavier. Google “guaranteed basic income.” People as high profile as Warren won’t talk about it (yet), but it is approaching monolithic as a concept on the left.

Oh, I hope she runs in the primary. I truly believe that all but the most brain-damaged, coastal Democrats will be utterly disgusted that such repellant persons actually exist in their party.

Well, at least she’s guaranteed 1/32nd of the Indian vote.

“The threat could be that she makes Hillary look good by comparison.”

Unfortunately, you may be right. On the other hand, IMO, she makes virtually anyone look good by comparison.

Well, they DID call them “Red Men” at one time...how prophetic.

Well, if they were the same age, I believe that she could probably take Dukakis in a fair fight. Probably less than five rounds, by TKO.

They DID NOT LOSE; two thirds of the voters, who would have ALL voted for them, did not show up*. Apparently, Obama actually believes this to be true.

A delusion is absolutely and completely real to the deluded.

* Of course, some couldn’t vote because, well, technically, they were dead/nonexistent/illegal.
