Robertson is wrong. There was no way Reid wasn’t going to push through those nominees. The whole idea is a charade meant to fool men with the minds of children. We have too many gullible Republicans and sadly many of them are Christians who trust liars too damn much.

I agree. Robertson read this situation wrong. If Senator Cruz had let the process go full steam ahead, Reid could have focused on the nominees without the distractions. Cruz wanted more scrutiny of the budget bill which was a hodge-podge of spending that allowed executive amnesty. If the Republicans could have made this bill a temporary one to be addressed later when the new Republican Senate was assembled, the spending spree could have been stopped. Also, things like Obamacare could be defunded and executive Amnesty stopped. This is what Senator Cruz was trying to do.

In 60 days we will know what this Republican Senate is all about. So far, they are looking like they want to avoid a fight.
