If paul runs it will be quixotic.
The GOP can’t seem to find new blood and continuously runs past losers.
The GOP ran the dreg, Mitt Romney, so why not? I’d go with Rand before I would another Bush or similar RINO. Tired of it.
Really chickensoup, abortion and gay marriage?
He’s not going to get money unless his number of supporters increases.
He’s set himself up to run with the Rinos and rejected anything resembling conservative. The Rinos are only in their positions because they have money. And the Rinos don’t want him.
So you like his brand of liberalism better than Milt or Jebbie’s brand?
Why so many threads of Rand Paul? He can’t win. Ignore him, unless you are worried about him for some reason, which I can’t see.
When I was only here for less than three years I didn’t make it a habit of telling people who’d been here much longer than that what to do or which articles to post. YMMV.
You can post as many articles as JR will allow. My query was strictly in reference to Rand Paul. I have seen so many threads about him posted by you. Do you consider he is a threat to more conservative candidates? Just wondering.
Since he’s not a conservative, I guess you could say that. I post articles about Gomer Huckleberry, Sweater Vest, Milt, Bush III, Hillary, Fauxcohontas, Ted Cruz, Palin, Krispy Kreme and many more, but you’re all up in my grill about the libertarian. Why is that? Do you have any idea how many threads I post on an average day?
Gomer is a threat to Cruz in SC and also in Iowa taking many Christian fundie votes.
Sweater vest is also going to cost Cruz church lady votes.
Milt & Jeb not so much. Most RINO voters will not vote for Cruz in primaries.
Also the Paul’s have their own band of followers, so won’t affect Cruz much. So Rand Paul is irrelevant.
Not necessarily. I lived in Iowa from 1974 until 2002 and worked on two presidential campaigns as well as for the largest county’s GOP. Iowa is not a primary, it’s a caucus and that isn’t the same thing. You actually have a meeting in a local facility, such as a school, church, fire hall or the like. You defend your candidate and try to convince others to stand with you. It’s not just pulling a lever or using a touchscreen. Organization is everything and that is one thing that Ron Paul brings to the table and Rand inherits. And there are 99 counties in Iowa.
I don’t support RINOs. No more.
