Scott Walker is unabashedly pro-amnesty for illegal aliens. He is dead to me. Period.

Steve King is totally correct in my opinion! I watched most of the speeches...after the fact....and those two rocked the room! I was impressed by the Rep from TN, too...Marsha... [darn! I forgot her last name!]

I say it’s time to coalesce behind Cruz. Let’s sweep aside the balkanization that has plagued us over the years where we’re small groups stick with one candidate, believe all of the lies and dirty tricks pulled on the various good candidates and end up with a GOPe POS who has been quietly collecting money to smash us with and ultimately lose.

It is the right time to start our own steamroller to force a real conservative on the GOPe. It is not too early.

Walker is pals with GOPe (Priebus, Ryan, and Rove). There is no way he is going to take on issues that might upset the “don’t rock the boat” and “go along to get along” GOPe and their Chamber of Commerce cronies.

So, once again, the mild mannered McCain/Romney candidate will be a good sport and give a gracious concession speech that might earn a minute or two of kind words from CNN anchors while the MSNBC types will make fun of his inept campaign for the next four years.

Walker certainly will not take on Hillary and get in her face. However, this is what is needed to awaken the disaffected conservatives around the country (especially in blue and purple states) and win a majority.

no formal education

He was a few credits short of graduation at Marquette. That's not "no formal education". I think its funny that this man with "no formal education" is now in authority over one of the most highly regarded public university systems in the country.

When the lefties went crazy in Madison, a lot of the Chamber of Commerce types were ready to pack it in. Walker didn't blink. He also kept the state senators (including dissident Schulz on board). He makes plenty of enemies, but not just for the heck of it.

You are not from Wisconsin. Walker faced the Gates of Hell in two of his three elections, and did a fine job of gettinghis message across and beating two different types of opponent (big city Unionphile, self-funded heiress business type).

Tell me this. If McConnell, Boehner, Ryan, and Rove had to choose between Walker or Ted Cruz, who would they pick?

Walker, that’s who. And that tells us all we need to know.

I like Ted Cruz just fine. I am simply stating the fact that Scot Walker got the full force of the entire United States union operation pointed at his small state, and that he knows how to fight just fine.

There are going to be a dozen or more candidates, there is no reason to make Walker out as being less conservative or forceful than he is.

I will cede your point, bt the same bunch might prefer Cruz or Palin, which doesn't make Cruz worse than Palin.

We know that all of them would rather have a Romney, Jeb Bush, Fiorina, Christie or Rubio than either Walker or Cruz.

As important as this election is, nothing positive will be accomplished in this country if the GOPe power structure remains in place after the election. Scott Walker not only would lose in a landslide to Hillary (or Elizabeth Warren), but he would leave the GOPe types in place.

Ted Cruz on the other hand would not only destroy Hillary in an election, but he would also lay waste to the GOPe who would try to stop a True Conservative, Constitutional, morals-based agenda.

That is where I disagree with you. If you remember the election of 1980, Reagan surged at the end because Carter's snarkiness was met with Reagan's genial, polite, toughness. I think either Walker or Cruz could win in a popular landslide (with a closer electoral map due to places like CA, MA and NY).

Walker knows how to push the enemies' buttons, making them go wayyyyyy over the top with their attacks. Electorally, he puts the Great Lakes region in play. Both will lose the Northeast big (with Walker having a chance at NH).

Besides Act 10, Concealed Carry and Voter ID, Walker audited Planned Parenthood, did a LOT of defunding, and five PP offices shut down.

Neither a President Cruz nor a President Walker will be able to dump Boehner or McConnell, any more than Reagan was able to get rid of worthless Bob Michel, Howard Baker or Bob Dole from their leadership posts.

Would you also have predicted that Walker wouldn't take on the powerful unions? I don't think we should attribute actions to Walker that have no basis in fact behind them.

I'd vote Cruz or Walker....

Thanks for the heads up. Do you have any link for this? Walker already flunked with his amnesty, and “ let everyone come here “ BS!

he’s a squish on amnesty and several other issues.

Well, that’s unfortunate. I’m a Ted Cruz guy, but Walker has balls; something rare in the GOP these days. He stood up to the Four “L’s”: Liberals, Labor Unions, Lesbians, and Limp-wrist faggots. He fought every political devil in the State of Wisconsin and beyond and he pulled out a can of “Whoop-Ass” and won every fight. Give the guy some credit for still standing. It might be kinda refreshing to have another real man running besides Ted.
