I’m confused.
Saying something was “very nearly flawless” is saying that it was flawed, is it not?
If it was such a great speech, why did there have to be people posted on either side of the stage with signs that said “Applaud” and “Stand and Applaud”? Are his supporters too stoned to respond without prompts?
