I think you are the one who should be answering that question, it is you saying something that takes some kind of boldness to be saying, although the word really isn’t boldness.
Whenever a candidate is too shrill about his religious beliefs, and makes his religion center stage of his campaign, it’s often hard to tell who is a fanatical true believer vs. a pious fraud. As far as I’m concerned, it doesn’t matter very much since neither a Grand Inquisitor nor an Elmer Gantry is likely to make a good President.
