It doesn't piss off liberals at all. He's a non-viable candidate with no chance at the GOP nomination, so he performs a useful function by splitting the socially conservative vote away from viable alternatives to Jeb.
Having said that, there's also a chance that Huckabee's economic liberalism will win over some RINO votes too. If that's the case, his net impact may be close to zero.
