Lee Bright, a local lawmaker who is serving as the South Carolina co-chair for the presidential campaign of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), compared the calls to remove the Confederate flag from the capitol building in his home state to a "Stalinist purge." According to a spokesperson for Cruz, those comments don't conflict with the candidate's position on the issue.
"What Senator Cruz has said is that this is an issue for the state of South Carolina and South Carolinians to sort out and I think that's what you're watching happen," Cruz campaign spokesman Rick Tyler said in a conversation with Business Insider on Tuesday evening.
The shooting at a historically black church in Charleston, South Carolina that left nine people dead on June 17 has reignited a nationwide debate over the flag. The alleged shooter, Dylann Roof, has been linked to a website that featured Confederate imagery and a racist manifesto. This prompted South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R) to call for the flag to be removed from the capitol on Monday....

My question would be, if they succeed at getting the flag removed, what is the next thing to get removed? How long will it be till they start "removing" people? I don't think they ever intend to cease and desist.

Well to hear the anti-Cruz trolls, this standing on principle seems to be in contradiction to his plan to trade away America’s sovereignty, to collect with his wife a big old bonus check from Goldman-Sachs, to be a secret member of the new world order, to be plotting to give Obama all sorts of new powers, etc.
Nope, this article about Ted calling a Stalinist purge a Stalinist purge can’t be true. He’s got to be for it because he’s controlled by Soros according to the newly minted anti-Cruz trolls.
He should’ve demanded Democrats apologize for putting confederate symbols on state property. Make democrats own their confederate heritage.
Exactly what I mean. Sooner or later, it will get physical. In fact, it kind of already has gotten physical, but could get a WHOLE lot worse. That's what I mean, these chumps have no intention of stopping.
