Through the power of his bizarre brand of charisma, Donald Trump has moved from the sideshow to take up residence in the main tent of the GOP circus. And in the process, he's bringing all kinds of interesting issues to light. Even as he is getting dropped by one corporate partner after another (how America will survive without its Trump-branded mattresses is a mystery), he has moved toward the front of the Republican pack, at least for the moment. And while I'm guessing he's surprised that the backlash to his remarks on immigration has been so intense, Trump's repellent views can help us understand the issue and why it divides Americans the way it does.
In case you missed it, during the free-style spoken-word performance that was his announcement speech, Trump said, "When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best...They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."
In the days since, he has not backed down. While most Republicans haven't rushed to his defense....

If these are not factual please provide the links to immigrant federal crime data so we can see there is no problem whatsoever -- it's minuscule not worth the effort.

EXACTLY...Cruz is absolutely brilliant in staying with Trump. The others, people that are led like a horse by their ‘advisers’ (most of them gay, by the way) were somehow convinced that they needed to ‘distance’ themselves from Trump...what they didn’t seem to understand is that, by default, they’ve lined themselves up with the Open Borders bunch, and that is going to be a VERY LONELY place to be, at least in this Primary season.
Paul Waldman is one of those Liberal Democrats who advocate that the United States abandon one of their most important sovereign responsibilities and open our borders to all comers. He shouts about American values and traditions, but he lies. He and his others of ilk want to destroy this country by importing enough voters to overcome the obstacles to their total control.
Their goal is complete control of this government and they know that they cannot achieve it without bringing in millions of illegal immigrants who will cast their illegal votes for the Democrats.

I think that Trump is causing the Left’s heads to explode, and that’s a good thing. I must fix some popcorn.
People don’t know what the border is about (or know California which I don’t but I hear tales), this is in a way “Invincible Ignorance”; I know a person whom I think is of fairly good will and probably right-thinking in most ways, I really do. But we had a bit of a heated exchange on this matter.
The thing is, people don’t know what is going on down there, it’d surprise the daylights out of them. I don’t say that to be condescending of others.
That magazine, “The Week”, I don’t know much about it. It looks like it tries to look as if it is unbiased and as a news magazine, you might find it on a plane or something as reading material but it definitely publishes leftist things like this ever so often.
Waldman is a total dumb@$$ and a true example of the mental illness that is leftism...
The Week is Micky Mouse, they publish I think freelance journalists and so, sometimes they will get some leftist stuff like this.
One big event and things will change dramatically. Such things as-—1. A Dirty Bome comes over the New Mexican Border and kills Houston. 2. Hoof and Mouth disease wrecks the cattle industry. 3, assassination teams fo a Mumbai style raid on Dallas, or New Orleans. 4. Killers come to assassinate political leaders. One big even and the Border will close—all illegals rounded up. But folks got to die first. People are now nodding their heads—Trump is right! A huge Cement wall, manned and enforced will stop the wave from the south.
