Ann Coulter: Donald Trump can win White House as Republican or third-party candidate
The Washington Times ^ | July 24, 2015 | Seth McLaughlin

Ann Coulter believes that Donald Trump can win the White House by continuing to tap into the electorate’s anger over the nation’s broken immigration system.

Speaking at a collegiate forum hosted by the Eagle Forum, Ms. Counter said Friday that Mr. Trump should not be underestimated.

“I love Trump. I love him, and I think he can win,” Ms. Coulter said. “I think he can win the nomination and I think he can win as a third party.”

The conservative commentator is one of the most vocal critics of the immigration system. She recently released a book, called “Adios America: The Left’s Plan to Turn Our Country into a Third World Hellhole,” in which she attacks both parties for not strengthening border security and not reducing the flow of people coming into the country — both legally and illegally.

On Friday, Ms. Coulter told the college students gathered at the Heritage Foundation that her first thought when Mr. Trump entered the GOP race was that she was glad that he would ensure immigration would get some attention.

Since then, she has come to believe that Mr. Trump, who has surged to the top of the GOP polls, has a real shot at winning the primary race, as well as the general election....

Trump wins easily in a Jeb-Hillary-Trump race.

She’s still enamored with Romney but he’s not running, so Trump’s second best thing; a liberal Republican is a liberal Republican. Her obsession with that toad Christie is just strange.

I’ll withhold judgment on Trump until I find out what his policy is for massive LEGAL immigration and “temporary” guest workers.

Everyone in the Republican field shows at least token resistance to ILLEGAL immigration, although Trump does seem to be the most sincere about that issue.

But, it is massive LEGAL immigration that is systematically destroying the political power of American Conservatives and has crushed the wage scale for low skill workers.

When Trump starts PUBLICLY campaigning to stop anchor babies, to stop family chain immigration, to stop the utterly bogus H-1B work visa, and to dramatically reduce the number of LEGAL immigrants - who vote 80% Democrat when they become citizens - then, and only then, will I take him seriously.

She’s dated Bill Marr. She’s mentally defective. All else follows.

If she dated Maher she did so because she thought it would somehow help sell her books.

I honestly believe that is all she cares about.

Trump would “win” as a 3rd party candidate all right, as his friend Hillary would cruise to a 40-state win.

There is no way he wins in a 3-way race. The thought is just completely illogical. Hillary would love to see that happen. Let’s hope he doesn’t give it to her.

Sanders could run as a socialist and steal lots of SHRILLARY! votes.

If the goal is to destroy the Washingtonians once and for all and the RNC pushes Prince Jeb Bush on us as the nominee, Trump/Cruz could easily go third party .

Cruz praised Sanders on the floor today for standing up against corporate welfare in the same speech he called McConnell a liar.

McConnell should resign.

No comment yet from his office, he’s hiding under his bed.

So, Ann is supporting Donald Trump now?

Has she gotten over Mitt Romney yet?

Exactly. The only real winner is Hillary in a 3-way.

I think it began that way. Now as she’s on the downside of her career having alienated half her fanbase, I think it’s about payback as well. She’s vindictive. Ariania Huffington will not be the last onetime ‘conservative’ to go full moonbat.

The US Chamber of Commerce is planning on eliminating conservative Congressmen. The GOPe has openly declared itself to be the greatest enemy of conservatives. It looks like we are finally getting the war for America that has been brewing ever since Reagan had the nerve to defeat NWO Bush.
Trump will be drawing on the same
coalition as Reagan including many

Democrat working class. So far, only CruZ has stepped up and chosen to fight against the Washington cartel along with Trump.

Big deal, she has flipped-flop, show me the solid Trump supporters from 5 months ago?

Still, if she takes some jibes here, she called the other R candidates “midgets” or “elves” I forget, watching her on Fox recently.

For the record, I do like what Trump is saying but I have not voted for him in any of the online polls.
