Agreed there’s a big difference between a donation to a charity and a political donation. Trump himself admitted his political donations were “ Pay to Play” donations.

That Paul is not telling the full story when he attacks Trump, namely Paul privately asks for and receives a favor from Trump with one hand and then turns around and hits Trump with the other hand publicly.
That Paul called Trump to play golf. Either they are friends or Paul felt the need to cozy up to The Donald. Then Paul tries to slap him down. Oops, that didn't play out like Paul wanted. First, Trump is the bigger man because he donated to Paul's cause. Second, Trump won the golf game which he could turn into winning over Paul in the race. Trump comes out smelling like a winner but Paul smells like a loser on all points.
