It’s really tough: Cruz was born in Canada and didn’t give up that citizenship until a year or so ago.
There are a lot of people who like his stand-up conservatism. But it is difficult to accept that he is eligible to be a U.S. President.
Citizenship from other countries will never be under our control. As long as the person did not ask for citizenship and it was conferred upon him, it should not affect his American citizenship.
Tomorrow Yemen could offer a candidate full citizenship; should that affect the candidate’s eligibility? Absolutely not.
Is Ted Cruz a natural-born citizen eligible to serve as president? [Yes! And I support him! JimRob]

It would be extremely difficult to accept that the child of an American citizen who happened to be born while she was on vacation out of the country would not automatically be a U.S. citizen. I guess upon landing at the U.S. airport, immigration authorities should’ve seized the baby and deported it to the custody of a foreign country’s foster care center.
Give me a break. Cruz is a natural-born citizen.
Ugh. Do your research and make up your mind and put this “is he eligible” baloney to rest. You should not have this question any more.
Either state publically that he *is* eligible. Or state publicly that he is *not* eligible. But stop the phony doubt-inducing rumor-mongering that “ooooohhhh Ted’s maybe not eligible!”
